Join us this Friday – July 28 – as we test the route for San Jose Bike Party’s Hot August Nights Ride. Gathering starts at 7:30pm. Wheels hit the street at 8pm.
Ride Leader: Ever
Ride Length: 16 miles
Ride Pace: Casual (roughly averaging 11-13mph)
Start: The Plant Shopping Center; Curtner & Monterey.
We’re meeting in the section of parking lot in front of the old Toys’R’Us (now vacant) space between Target & Home Depot.

There will be 15+/- minute stops at each of our two prospective regroup spots.
SJBP relies on cyclists like you to help us test the route before we launch each big event. These small group rides are a great way to meet new people, catch up with old friends, or just get out for a social ride. While you’re pedaling, we’ll count on you to help us keep an eye out for potential route hazards. Your feedback will help us adjust the route and keep all of Bike Party safe!
Things to watch out for:
– road or bike lane construction
– hazardous railroad crossings
– poorly signed lane changes
– tricky turns
– problematic regroup spots
– notable debris in the road
– dangerous traffic patterns
