This ride honors County Supervisor Ken Yeager for his fantastic support of Viva Calle SJ.
In 1992, he become the first openly gay elected official in Santa Clara County. He has served as a San Jose Council Member from 2000-2006. He moved on to become a member of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors representing Campbell, Santa Clara, and San Jose. He recently returned to San Jose State University to teach Political Science to teach a new generation of students.
He is an avid cyclist and can frequently be seen riding around San Jose.
